Prices are good but I felt judge. When I paid for my purchases all I had was rolled up coins. The cashier was like don't you have any other form of payment. No one should have that feeling of being judge just because you don't have a credit card, check, or actual paper money doesn't mean the rolled coins spend any less. It is still a form of payment.
They go above and beyond the big box stores. A few days before Thanksgiving, they ran out of canned yams. I got a raincheck for the sale price. Two days later the store called to tell me their delivery came in.
Plenty of food choices here; they have a nice little deli and really delicious baked items as well as a generous freezer section. The produce section is always well-stocked and tidy. One of the few stores that will help you to your vehicle with your purchase.
Always pleasant and always have what I'm looking for. In the one instance that the store didn't carry an item that I used to buy elsewhere, the manager checked his vendor to see if they carried the item.......they did and now I can get it at Orchard Market! Great service!!
Very friendly employees. Not so huge that you need a nap after traversing, but carry a decent brand selection. They bag and carry your bags to the car, no tips allowed.
Sad that they are a spartan store. I expect better from spartan than what Orchard Market delivers. Milk that expires in 2 days, all the time, not just an isolated incident. You can only get chicken that's like $5 a lb. I only go there when I absolutely have to. The staff has been nice, it's close by, but that's about all its got going for it.
